SV Rach and Roll on the ball.

Floating on a private mooring in Hull, Massachusetts, Figure 1 is the image taken the first time I saw the sailing vessel, destined to be christened Rach and Roll. Her then owner Jack was justifiably proud of her and his travels around Cape Cod with her.

We took a lap around her in the dinghy and then boarded. I must confess to being immediately smitten.

The sailing vessel Rach and Roll is a Tayana 37, designed by Robert Perry and constructed and completed by the Ta Yang Shipyard in March of 1981. She is hull number two hundred seventy-seven. Her vital statistics can be found at https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/tayana-37.
